This is a known issue caused by changes introduced by the June 2026 Microsoft Windows security update (KB5094126), which can prevent Microsoft Word (.doc) report templates from opening and populating correctly. We do not recommend removing the Windows update, as LXSoftware 11.10.9 resolves the issue while allowing the update to remain in place.
To resolve this issue, install LXSoftware 11.10.9: https://lafayettepolygraph.com/downloads/software-updates/
LXSoftware 11.10.9 standardizes on the RTF reporting format to ensure continued compatibility and reliability. As part of this change, the Word (.doc), PDF, and legacy WordPerfect reporting formats have been removed. After upgrading, any report templates currently using those formats must be reset using th RTF format.
As a longer-term solution, LXEdge is our next-generation polygraph software platform. It is not affected by this issue and continues to receive new features and improvements.
