Major Updates

• Allow question text to be edited in between charts within a series. Edits will be used in subsequent charts run in the series.
• Remove ability to remove charts within a PF that have not been run.
• Chart creation
  • Adjust so the time-axis scaling matches paper charts (0.5” / 5 seconds)
  • Do not allow zooming of the time axis
  • Do not allow panning of the time axis
• Chart review
  • Open chart to the standard time-axis scaling
  • Allow scroll-wheel zooming of time-axis
  • Allow time axis to be panned
  • Clicking on a question centers that question in the view.
• Chart replay
  • Made it so that questions now advance automatically during replay.
• Audio/Video Settings
  • Added ability to select audio quality for microphones. Resolves issue that audio file sizes were very large.
  • Cameras and microphones now keep their settings after being unplugged and plugged back in.
  • When plugged in, cameras and microphones appear without needing to navigate away and back to the settings.
  • Added ability to delete a previously added Network Camera.
  • Modified the resolution for the “Medium” video setting.

Minor Updates

• Settings
  • Made it more clear that the top item in Data Stripping settings enables/disables stripping completely.
  • Changed the minimum allowed Question Timer setting from 18 seconds to 0 seconds.
  • Removed the “Display Grid at 5 Second Divisions” setting.
  • Removed the “Use Application Settings” setting.
  • Removed the “Maximum Data Display Rate (Hz)” setting.
• While running a chart, repeated questions will show in the question bar.
• While running a chart, when a question is completed, the program will move to the first unasked question.
• Adjust default sensor vertical positions to match positions for a typical examiner.
• Added button to show the “Release Notes” on the web.
• Do not allow user to close LXEdge while running a chart.
• Now disables “Center All” button while running a chart.
• On the question template editor, ensure that the question boxes in the sequences are always wide enough to contain the entire Question ID.
• Prevent LXCAT users from selecting a different question set or modifying questions while inside PF.
• Hotkeys
  • “F10” now appears instead of “System” for the hotkey associated with Unexpected Behavior.
  • Ignore “Ctrl” key when setting hotkeys.
  • Removed the “Question Completion” and “Question Set Editor” hotkeys.
• Removed the Save button from the Personal History and Series entry views.
• Converted the Default PF template to the new PF format.
• Changes to Preview PF template view
  • Show the name of the selected Personal History.
  • Added Scoresheet and Report.
  • Standardized font and margin.

Bug Fixes

• Largely eliminated sluggish behavior that could occur after extended usage of LXEdge.
• Resolved issue that taking a picture with the LXEdge Recorder would mark the current tab complete, even if it was not the Photo tab.
• Resolved issue in Question Template selector that clicking “New Folder” repeatedly would appear to create multiple folders called “New Folder”.
• Resolved issue that search function didn’t work for question set templates.
• Resolved issue that under certain scenarios, chart/media playback would revert to beginning instead of continuing from current spot.
• Resolved issue that prevented LXEdge from updating the firmware on older LX6 hardware. This was preventing usage of that hardware with LXEdge.
• Resolved issue that prevented old LXCAT PF’s from being loaded.
• Resolved issue that pressing “Alt” key would impute an annotation on the chart.
• Edits to last edited field in Personal History could be lost when navigating to Series.
• Related to PF Template
  • Resolved issue that following certain steps, changes to a PF template would not be reflected in a PF immediately created from the template.
  • Resolved issue that a message related to missing question set would be incorrectly shown when creating PF from PF template that included a question set from a folder.
  • Resolved issue that PF created from edited Default PF template would not contain Scoresheet or Report.
  • Resolved issues that series could be numbered out of order following deletion or reordering.
• Resolved issue that the Annotation (F1-F12) hotkeys would be ignored under a very specific situation.

Known Issues

• While running a chart, a slight jump sometimes occurs at question onset or offset, response, and selecting another question.
• The ESS Scoresheet Auto Select function is not working as examiners would expect it to. We will be adjusting the drop down menus in the future to Scoring Types: ESS, 3-position, 7-position; Exam Type: Single-Issue (Non-Independent), Multiple-Issue (Independent); Decision Rules: Two Stage Rules, Subtotal Score Rules, Federal Zone Rules, Grand Total Rules. Examiners should manually select the correct Scoring Type and Decision Rules in the meantime.
